Senior Director of Operations

provides director leadership for Chesapeake Urology Associates’ regional offices, overseeing operational performance, strategic growth, and long-term planning. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional patient care while fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance. The Senior Director drives initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and business results. They mentor and coach Directors of Operations and Site Managers to develop leaders who can think strategically and execute with excellence across a growing network of practices. This is a hybrid role requiring regular travel to clinic offices and headquarters to maintain alignment, presence, and strong relationships across teams. Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Critical Thinking: Coordinate daily and long-term strategic operations and staff scheduling through close interaction with the Market Chief Executive Officer, Directors of Operations, Site Managers, and Physicians. Provide high-level oversight of regional operations, focusing on long-term strategy, scalable processes, and organizational growth. Develop and implement strategic initiatives in partnership with the Market CEO and other executive leadership. Analyze trends, evaluate operational data, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement across the region. Leadership & Talent Development: Drive measurement and accountability with the Directors of Operations and Site Managers to ensure achievement of plans, goals, initiatives, and objectives, providing guidance and coaching on an ongoing basis. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the region. Guide direct reports in managing their teams effectively, empowering them to focus on strategic rather than tactical day-to-day decisions. Recognize and provide management and staff coaching, counseling, and discipline. Financial & Operational Oversight: Guide Directors of Operations and Site Managers on P&L for all practice locations, including budget management and Net Operating Income performance. Collaborate with the Market Chief Executive Officer on evaluating, acquiring, and managing medical equipment and devices, ensuring supplies, equipment, physical space, and resources are properly operated and maintained. Partner with leadership on major operational initiatives, including new site openings, resource allocation, and large-scale process improvements. Support identification, evaluation, and deployment of initiatives that generate new revenue streams or operational efficiencies. Organizational Culture & Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between market offices and corporate leadership, ensuring consistent communication and alignment. Promote organizational culture and core values across the region, reinforcing high standards for patient care and employee engagement. Build and maintain relationships with physicians, APPs, and administrative leaders to support operational excellence. Other Responsibilities: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Market CEO. Travel regularly to regional offices and headquarters to maintain a strong presence and alignment with teams. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field required; a graduate degree such as Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or Public Health is preferred. Minimum ten (10) years of director-level leadership experience in a large multi-site medical group, hospital system, or healthcare organization. Proven track record of managing multiple offices, including budget oversight, P&L responsibility, and operational strategy. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing operational leaders. Experienced in strategic planning, process improvement, and large-scale operational change. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience collaborating with physicians, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams. Key Competencies

High-speed, reliable internet connection to ensure uninterrupted communication and access to necessary systems and tools. Quiet and private work environment to maintain confidentiality of patient information and minimize background noise during calls. Proficiency in remote collaboration tools, such as video conferencing software, instant messaging platforms, and customer relationship management systems. Compliance with security and privacy policies and protocols, including safeguarding patient information and HIPAA compliance. Direct Reports

Directors of Operations and Site Managers Travel

Must have the ability and willingness to travel to other sites as necessary within a geographic region. Job Type: Full-Time Pay Range: $165,000 - $185,000 annually. Actual compensation offered is based on work experience, education, skill level, and geographic location, and may vary by state or region in accordance with applicable laws.
