Piper Companies is hiring a Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph) to support a secure data center environment in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The ideal candidate for the Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph) will have strong experience in Linux and Windows systems engineering and network administration, supporting large enterprise environments. The Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph) role requires to work standard business hours in the SCIF, Monday – Friday. Responsibilities
Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage network activity for large enterprise customer data networks Collaborate with engineering teams to support customer project requests Provide high-level technical expertise for LAN and WAN environments Recommend improvements to network and systems performance, efficiency, and security Requirements
Requirements for the Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph) include: Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph 3+ years of systems and network administration/engineering experience Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Knowledge of key networking technologies and protocols including EIGRP, BGP, SD-WAN, and MPLS Experience with WAN, LAN, firewalls, and Cisco router/switch configuration Proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments Previous experience with VMware, including building and deploying virtual machines Compensation
