At AWS National Security we’re looking for an Enterprise Account Engineer (EAE) to support customers’ innovative use of AWS across Compute, Storage, Database, Machine Learning, Big Data, Security, Networking, Serverless and more. This is not a sales role; you will be the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer to organizations from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises. As an EAE, you will help craft and execute strategies to drive customers’ adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS, Lambda, SageMaker, ECS/EKS, GuardDuty, Systems Manager, CodePipeline, IoT, and more. Your technical acumen and customer-facing skills will enable you to represent AWS within a customer environment and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support and risk management. You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keep customers’ AWS environments operationally healthy. Build close relationships with customers to understand their business and technical challenges and help them achieve the greatest value from AWS. 5+ years of technical engineering experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for one of the following areas: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, AI/ML, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, or Applications Development in a distributed systems environment Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline required, or 5 years of equivalent work experience Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience as a technical lead Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph Preferred Qualifications

The Colorado base pay for this position ranges from $131,300/year up to $177,600/year. The National base pay ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary with job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
