At New Orleans Restoration Properties (NORP), you don't just manage construction—you help restore homes, revitalize communities, and build a better future. We're looking for a skilled
Construction Project Manager
to join our team.
This is a full-time, remote opportunity with competitive pay of
$100,000–$120,000 , plus benefits like PTO, growth opportunities, mentorship programs, and professional development support. You'll also enjoy the flexibility of working
remotely , with travel to project sites and company meet-ups as needed.
Your day Your day as a Construction Project Manager includes reviewing project updates, coordinating with general contractors to ensure timelines, budgets, and safety standards stay on track. When visiting sites, you inspect work, resolve challenges in real time, and foster strong collaboration among subcontractors. Documentation and stakeholder updates keep everyone aligned, and you end each day strategizing for future housing and restoration projects.
Your schedule You work a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional travel for site visits and team meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
5+ years of construction management experience, ideally in multi-family affordable housing, market-rate, and hospitality (hotel) developments
Successful track record of managing projects on time and within budget
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices; historic restoration required
Proficiency in contract documents (including AIA), estimating, and project management tools
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to foster collaboration in remote environments
Leadership skills to motivate teams, influence stakeholders, and ensure accountability
Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and resolve challenges proactively
Preferred:
Professional certification (e.g., CCM, PMP)
Knowledge of Section 3 standards, DBE participation, Davis-Bacon Wage Rates
Experience with historic tax credits, IBHS Fortified standards, Enterprise Green Communities, and low-income housing tax credits
