Safety Coordinator
to support a large-scale construction project in
San Carlos, CA . The position will oversee site-level safety activities, conduct daily inspections and orientations, and ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory standards. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel. Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily site safety audits, inspections, and reports in accordance with project safety plans. Lead morning stretch-and-flex sessions and deliver safety orientations for field teams. Attend and document weekly safety meetings with the general contractor, owner, and internal project staff. Identify and mitigate potential hazards through proactive field engagement. Support incident and accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Maintain compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and company-specific safety requirements. Foster a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement throughout the jobsite. Qualifications
1–2 years of construction safety or related field experience required. Working knowledge of OSHA and Cal/OSHA standards. OSHA 30 (required); STSC preferred; CHST or CSP a plus. CPR and First Aid certifications required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple trades, contractors, and field supervision. Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to managing jobsite conditions. Location & Division
