Introduction to Earth Science EES 102S. Sedimentology EES106. Structural Geology EES106F. Structural Geology Field Methods EES108. Soil and Water Sciences EES 112. Planet Earth through Time EES117. Hydrogeology EES 167. Oceans and Atmosphere and Climate EES 168. California\'s Earth System NSCI 4. Science and Nonsense: Facts, Fads, and Critical Thinking NSCI 115. Environmental Earth and Life Science Or other classes identified to fulfill educational goals Adhere to university and system-wide policies and perform duties related to lectures, office hours, assignments, quizzes, projects, and exams as scheduled Appointment Details

Conditional appointment based on budget and enrollment; governed by the Order of Work provisions in the CSU-California Faculty Association agreement. Appointees must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States (Fresno State is not a sponsoring agency for Temporary Faculty positions). Compensation

Commensurate with qualifications and experience within the CSU salary schedule. For Academic Year Lecturers, Class Code 2358 applies. Typical range for a Master\'s degree is $4,530.00 - $6,056.00 per month (full-time basis). Actual salary is based on WTUs assigned per term. Anticipated Semester

The pool is continuously open and positions are filled as needed based on enrollment and funding. Pool remains in place for two academic terms; reapplication is required for continued consideration. Positions may begin on short notice. Fall 2024: Aug 19, 2024 – Dec 23, 2024 Spring 2025: Jan 15, 2025 – May 23, 2025 Qualifications

Required Qualifications Education: Master\'s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a closely related field (from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent). Experience: Commitment to working with a diverse community of faculty, staff, and students Evidence of successful teaching experience Preferred Qualifications Commitment to undergraduate teaching excellence and evidence such as teaching evaluations Undergraduate teaching experience Ph.D. in Geology, Environmental Science, or a closely related field Application Procedures
