Teach and develop undergraduate and graduate courses within the candidate’s area of expertise. Perform high-quality research in the specialized area and present findings in peer‑reviewed publications and conferences. Establish a strong research program supported by extramural funding. Engage in service to the university and the broader scientific community; collaborate with faculty in diverse disciplines. Demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, advising, and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds. Qualifications

All candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in computer science or a related field by the start date of employment. Evidence of excellence in scholarship, teaching, and collegial service. Areas of Interest

We seek candidates with research in engineering innovations for computing systems. Specific areas include but are not limited to: secure and privacy-preserving systems, trustworthy systems, disaggregated computing, cloud computing, systems for AI, embedded systems, in-memory computing, analog computing systems, next‑generation computing systems and algorithms, IoT, energy‑efficient sensing systems, neuromorphic sensing and computing, operating systems and compilers for non-traditional computing systems, next‑generation distributed, networking, and communication systems. These areas should not be considered limiting; candidates whose work directly impacts computing systems and architectures are encouraged to apply.
