A hospital in western North Dakota has an opening for a Pediatrician to assist with locum coverage.
Opening Overview:
- Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7 days per month
- Level II nursery
- Patient Census: 2-3 per day
- Duties: Attend vaginal deliveries if requested, attend scheduled and emergent c-sections, admit/discharge newborns, admit/care for pediatric patients, and perform procedures
- Required Procedures: Circumcisions, newborn resuscitation/intubations/UVC, lumbar punctures
- Support Staff: Nurses, anesthesia, OB/GYNs, respiratory therapists, and local pediatricians
- EMR: Meditech
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible
- Paid travel & expenses
During your time off, attend rodeos, fairs, and festivals, drive scenic routes through Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and explore a charming downtown.
