Job Overview We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing New York team on an initial 6-month fixed‑term contract with the view of becoming permanent. Ideally, you’ll bring experience working in-house within the creative industry—preferably in a social media or influencer marketing agency environment. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process, support hiring managers to deliver an exceptional candidate experience, and partner closely with our HR Manager and Talent Acquisition Director on sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and contributing to recruitment initiatives.
Responsibilities
Manage job boards, source for assigned positions, qualify talent, and facilitate interviews.
Support sourcing candidates directly through network, LinkedIn, and other social media sites, minimizing reliance on outside staffing agencies.
Conduct initial phone and video screens of applicants.
Build strong, diverse pipelines of quality talent for various positions across all departments.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, align on and coordinate deliverables and priorities.
Consistently use our applicant tracking system (Teamtailor) to funnel candidates through the interview process and ensure hiring managers use the system.
Maintain knowledge of direct candidate attraction methods; pooling/pipelining and sourcing.
Promote BDB as an employer of choice by creating compelling content.
Skills & Attributes
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Previous recruitment experience—ideally in Advertising.
Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.
Knowledge of ATS system—Teamtailor.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Organised and detail‑oriented.
4+ years experience in a Recruitment/Talent Acquisition role.
