Responsibilities
Cultivate a culture that drives a fantastic Associate Experience by leading people and culture‑related strategies for your business units, including Diversity and Inclusion, Associate Engagement, Talent Management, Training, Compensation, and Compliance Management.
Execute the COE's strategies on Talent, Learning and Development, Diversity and Inclusion and Total Rewards.
Lead Corporate HR projects/programs to drive an associate experience that supports the company's business goals.
Participate in business strategic planning: seeking solutions to business challenges, identifying skill/resource requirements, designing organization changes, and aligning HR programs to business objectives.
Drive organizational change by assessing culture, climate, and motivation, and provide guidance on change management and organization design.
Support succession, career, and development planning processes for clients. Guide the assessment of bench strength, potential and readiness, facilitate talent reviews and coach on development planning.
Participate in recruiting process; drive diversity objectives; and actively participate in selection process for key leadership positions.
Champion the Talent Management process by partnering with business leaders to align strategic business objectives with talent strategy, and ensure follow‑through on talent management lifecycle.
Coach business unit leaders on all people‑related matters.
Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance of laws and regulations, as well as leverage best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
Conduct internal investigations and collaborate with Asset Protection/Legal regarding compliance charges and litigation.
Ensure effective delivery of learning curriculum and partner with L&D on strategy for development needs.
Ensure effective execution of all corporate policies and practices for your team, including compensation and benefits plans.
Qualifications
Effectively communicates complex solutions in simple terms to all levels using diplomacy and influencing skills.
Candidly and constructively speaks up even when difficult to do so.
Proven experience in leading teams and projects without direct authority over others.

Experience supporting retail and multi‑state/locations preferred.
Business acumen to recommend innovative HR approaches and solutions to achieving business goals and process improvement to increase efficiency and productivity.
Ability to drive execution of HR programs, obtain buy‑in for them and manage frequent change.
Strong focus on customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to manage demanding timelines and multiple priorities.
Knowledge: 3‑5 years HR related experience where consulting, culture, performance management, training, general understanding of employment law, investigations, compensation and benefits, change management, and general human resources skills have been gained.
Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree with emphasis in human resources, labor employment law, training, business or other related fields; Master's or an MBA degree preferred.
Travel requirements: 5‑10%
