Major Responsibilities

In collaboration with stakeholder business teams and guidance of Sr. Manager, prepare and issue RFPs; review RFP responses and short‑list suppliers; negotiate with suppliers, lead commercial aspects of contract review, and coordinate with legal and other departments as needed. Route contracts for execution.

Ensure application of appropriate practices throughout sourcing projects to maintain a competitive environment, delivering timely RFPs to assist in the delivery of savings.

Represent Signet with external supplier community on sourcing events.

Explore options for continuous improvement that drive cost savings as well as process improvements.

Strong analytical skills to calculate current category spend and analyze incoming proposals against the baseline to determine savings based on different award scenarios.

Work through ambiguity and deliver optimal solutions, delivering results for complex and/or non‑routine sourcing projects or processes.

Project Management skills to lead projects to ensure the sourcing event meets its deadline, achieves maximum savings and minimizes risks.

Willingness to respond quickly and meet compressed deadlines in a dynamic, fast‑paced work environment while ensuring critical milestones and deliverables are completed on schedule across multiple, moderate to high complexity sourcing projects simultaneously.

Work independently and be self‑motivated to keep projects moving forward and overcome roadblocks and recognize when and how to elevate challenges.

Advise and partner with business leaders to drive savings and improve business compliance.

In collaboration with Sr. Manager, stakeholder business teams and Finance, continuously looks for new savings opportunities, process improvements, and supplier compliance in existing contracts (e.g., receiving rebates, pricing, terms, SLAs, etc.).

Effectively manage key supplier relationships, including supporting benchmarking and ongoing performance measurement activities as needed. Analyze market space to identify potential suppliers for sourcing efforts, including support of Signet’s Supplier Diversity goals. Administration of procurement technology toolsets.

Performs additional duties and projects as assigned.

Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.

Position Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field

Effective relationship building, communication (both verbal and written), and presentation skills.

Experience leveraging multiple sourcing tactics/strategies, including leading RFx processes, auctions, sole/single source negotiation, and ZBX analysis.

Familiarity and experience with 7-Step Sourcing process.

Familiarity with Digital and Technology categories (software, hardware, telecom, services) and suppliers.

Years of Job-Related Experience: 1+ years of strategic sourcing experience.

Technical/Other Skills

Familiarity with e-Procurement technologies (e.g., Ariba, GEP, Oracle, Coupa), including contracts management, eSourcing (including auction formats), and spend analytics.

Advanced experience using Microsoft tools particularly Excel and PowerPoint in support of sourcing activities.

Strong data analytics capabilities and financial acumen.
