ERMC has stations in more than 200 airports. We provide a comprehensive range of ground aviation services, encompassing ticketing, ground handling, cabin cleaning, and cargo handling. ERMC also provides operations and maintenance for terminals and support facilities in some of the world's busiest airport locations. ERMC is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician. The candidate will perform maintenance-related work assignments to ensure all facilities & equipment are properly maintained in a safe and reliable working order. The main focus will be to resolve all Passenger Loading Bridges and Ground Support Equipment issues.

Perform repairs and maintain Passenger loading bridges, 400 HZ, AHUs, and potable water units.

Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual preventive maintenance on 10 – 75-ton HVAC equipment, including: filter, belt, electrical, and refrigeration system maintenance.

Troubleshoots and repairs all facility HVAC equipment, including system controls, electrical components, supply & return fan replacement, and 35 – 75-ton compressor replacement.

Determine and maintain inventory levels of HVAC-related spare parts and materials required for maintenance and repairs.

Read and understand complicated blueprints, wiring schematics, control diagrams and other equipment specifications to aid in troubleshooting efforts.

Recommend revisions to preventive maintenance programs to increase program effectiveness.

Must be willing to be cross‑trained on non‑HVAC equipment and perform non‑HVAC related assignments.

Perform unassisted routine preventative maintenance and major repairs on various electrical and mechanical equipment.

Maintain assigned tools and support accurate inventory of all company supplied tools.

Maintain high quality appearance of the equipment and facility.

Update maintenance work assignment records via the computerized maintenance management system.

Perform minor welding tasks with electrical welding equipment on mild steels and be knowledgeable of all safety practices related to welding processes.

Resolve all Passenger Boarding bridge and Gate Service equipment malfunctions that involve the electrical mechanical and computer control system.

Assign work via computerized work order system.

Troubleshoot complex electrical controls.

Install electrical circuitry, conduct and control components.

Recommend purchases and stocking levels for critical parts and supplies.

Provide facility operations support for hardware set‑ups and repairs.

EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED BUT PREFERRED. HVAC CERTIFICATION PREFERRED.

Standard Qualifications

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Must possess a Government ID and social security card.

Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.

Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.

Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces.

Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check.

Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
