Location Description Welcome to The Belgrove, a distinguished 4‑Diamond resort in West Palm Beach with 150 rooms, multiple restaurants, a spa and a golf course. You will work in a supportive environment with training programs and a community that values teamwork.
Overview We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional with Banquets experience and exceptional service attitude for the position of Banquet Manager at the Belgrove Resort. The Banquet Manager will supervise the execution of Banquet Event Orders according to Catering instructions, client preferences and established hotel service standards.
Responsibilities
Requires working knowledge of Banquet operations, luxury core standards and standard operating procedures.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to multi‑task and prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, accurately and with attention to detail.
Effective team leadership and cohesion.
Use sound logic and judgement in evaluating situations and using resources.
Self‑directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Effective communication in English, both verbal and written; a second language desirable.
Experience with Microsoft Office and industry payroll systems.
Assist the Banquets Management Team with directing day‑to‑day activities of Banquets Staff.
Oversee Banquet Service team, ensuring adherence to resort standards.
Provide guidance to Banquet Houseperson staff on facility and equipment care.
Execute policies accurately with a focus on quality, service and operations.
Inspect function rooms before service, reporting discrepancies to Engineering.
Develop Banquet staff and hold team accountable for performance and standards.
Communicate with clients to ensure guest satisfaction.
Attend necessary meetings: BEO Meeting, F&B Meeting and other Banquet Department meetings.
Monitor and ensure timeliness, standards and accuracy of staff work.
Perform special tasks as assigned by Director of Banquets Food & Beverage.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hospitality or Food & Beverage, or equivalent experience required. Minimum one year of strong Food & Beverage supervisory or management experience, preferably in a luxury environment. TIPS and ServSafe certifications preferred.
