Job Summary The Manager for Grants and Education will work within the US Medical Affairs organization, empowering the execution of therapeutic area (TA) medical education strategies and objectives. Working closely with Medical Information & Education, Medical Research & Strategy, and other functional teams, the Manager will lead conversations across Grant Review Committees and other functional groups to align grant and project decisions with the organization’s medical and scientific community needs.

Responsibilities

Internal Strategy and Operations – Collect, review, and make decisions on assigned TA educational grants and/or sponsorships in collaboration with Medical Affairs stakeholders.

Design and implement internal communication plans to share educational and project outcome metrics for the assigned therapeutic area(s).

Perform operational duties (e.g., collecting and triaging grant submissions, organizing submissions for Programs Grants Committee, securing Letters of Agreement and Statements of Work) as needed in alignment with the Analyst Operations team/delegate.

External Strategy and Operations – Serve as an IME TA strategic point-person for interacting with grant requestors (academic institutions, professional societies, medical education providers) and internal partners including grant review teams.

Manage the strategic review, approval, and evaluation of educational grants, ensuring fiscally responsible implementation, alignment with strategy, and budget adjustments in response to changing business needs.

Closely track and observe key educational initiatives, analyze final evaluation reports from grant recipients, and translate and communicate results across the organization.

Qualifications

Education

– Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree, PharmD, or PhD preferred.

Experience

– 4+ years overall related experience or equivalent education/experience (with at least 2 years relevant), including 1+ year in Medical Affairs with expertise in Oncology and Medical Education or comparable background preferred.

Demonstrated track record of successful cross‑functional teamwork and influence on leadership.

Travel Ability to travel up to 5% domestically.

Salary Range $116,400.00 - $174,600.00
