JOB DESCRIPTION About the Race California’s Insurance Commissioner oversees one of the largest insurance markets in the world, shaping how coverage is regulated and affecting cost, availability, and quality for millions of Californians. This office touches nearly every part of life and business — from buying a home or car to accessing health care and recovering after disasters. With rising costs and shrinking options, the role is more critical than ever.
Patrick Wolff — a financial analyst, father, and lifelong Democrat with deep insurance experience — is running to bring fairness, transparency, and meaningful reform to a struggling system. He’s committed to a market that is fair, efficient, and consumer-focused, and his expertise and practical leadership uniquely qualify him to lead this office.
What You’ll Do We’re seeking a full-time

Own the digital program end-to-end — from strategy to execution.
Maintain a monthly content calendar and develop ideas to grow visibility on Facebook, Instagram, X, and other social channels.
Track and report weekly on key metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, CTR, video completion).
Identify new visibility opportunities — YouTube channels, podcasts, and emerging platforms.
Build relationships with creators and influencers (especially those with insurance/consumer reach) to book interviews and appearances.
Collaborate with the paid media team to extend reach on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and programmatic.
Update the campaign website as needed (photos, videos, press releases).

Strong video skills: filming, editing, and packaging short-form content.
Proven experience managing social for a brand, candidate, or organization.
Willingness to travel with the candidate across California.
Familiarity with social management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) is a plus.
