CSM Corporation is looking for a
Front Desk Agent
to provide exceptional service at the Residence Inn in Bloomington.
Responsibilities
Anticipate and respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner
Provide the highest level of service
Process check‑ins and check‑outs, verify billing, create reservations, and handle special requests
Assist guests by providing information about the hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services
Work as a team player, meeting guests' needs and contributing to the efforts of other departments when necessary
Understand and follow the company guest service recovery program
Apply proper selling techniques and utilize strategies to maximize room revenues
Monitor room availability, follow restrictions, and comply with booking policies and procedures
Drive sales and maximize revenue by upselling rooms and amenities
Follow company procedures when handling cash and processing financial transactions
Use all equipment properly and adhere to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste
Plan, organize, and prioritize work duties to maintain required volume
Adhere to company general work rules, departmental procedures, and company policies
Attend all required departmental and hotel meetings
Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company, brand, local, state, and federal regulations
Follow all company procedures for guest/associate incidents
Be knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures
Education & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required.
Experience / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
1+ years of prior guest service experience, preferably in a hospitality setting
Excellent verbal communication skills
Attention to detail, customer‑focused, and ability to perform in a fast‑paced environment
Predictable and reliable attendance
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis
Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods
Compensation Rate: $17.00 USD per hour
