Job Description GDIT and the Fort Wainwright Alaska – Mission Training Complex (FWA-MTC) is seeking qualified candidates for the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. The role involves delivering individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta (Difference) Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training, and technical integration between simulation and C4I systems. The position will establish and maintain training and exercise networks, and accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities.
Responsibilities
Coordinate training activities, including answering phone calls and emails and interacting with customers face‑to‑face.
Work closely with government staff and the contract team to schedule classes and reserve training space.
Meet and greet customers; provide a professional first impression.
Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate strong work ethic.
Use Microsoft Office applications proficiently.
Submit weekly, monthly, and annual usage reports on behalf of the contract.
Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, compiling records, filing, data entry, receiving UPS/FEDEx packages, and distributing e‑mail.
Collect, sort, and distribute incoming packages, and post outgoing mail.
Work closely with Government Leadership and Contract Oversight.
Familiarize with military procedures and protocol (recommended).
Participate in special projects as required.
Lift up to seven pounds (recommended).
Obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Three (3) years of military experience (preferred) and at least one year as a Training Coordinator or General Clerk.
US citizenship required; Interim Secret clearance at the time of application with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with others.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with scheduling and coordinating training sessions is desirable.

Location: Fort Wainwright, AK.
Employment type: Full‑time.
Schedule: 40 hours per week.
Travel: Less than 10%.
Telecommuting: Onsite.
