As a Manager of Cloud Infrastructure supporting TSS, you will be trusted to identify, evaluate, architect, and recommend best-of-breed technology approaches to solve business and customer problems. This role will interface directly with customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver solutions, and identify and deliver incremental revenue opportunities. This role entails overseeing a growing Cloud Engineering team. Customers include DHS, HHS, and DOW among many others. Responsibilities

Day-to-day supervision of the Cloud Infrastructure team Manage deployment of endpoints into our Managed Shared Services cloud environment using Terraform scripts and native Cloud Service Provider tools Manage the migration of customer data onto cloud endpoints Manage large on-prem and cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code Provide expert knowledge while working across teams, and external customer groups to develop strategy, design solutions, and advise implementation teams during deployment Build and maintain technical relationships with others in the organization and technology providers by participating in cloud technology discussions and aligning solutions with client needs Provide expert communication, ensuring that managers, team members, stakeholders within the organization, and clients are kept informed of relevant trends and projects Research new or alternative technologies, document findings, conduct pilots and evaluate multiple vendors, make recommendations, and develop business cases to justify the investment Manage escalations. Make assessments, recommendations or provide solutions to resolve issues Mentor, motivate and train staff, ensuring they are up to speed on critical processes and technologies related to the organizations’ goals and soft skills needed to succeed Develop timelines and manage projects Contribute to budgeting for and understand the financial impact of cloud technology decisions Write functional requirements/specifications documents Guide the selection, implementation and deployment processes for new cloud technology rollouts Work with our Strategy team and other GDIT organizations to find and pursue new work Manage the hiring process for additional personnel. Assess talent and identify gaps Assist with creating business development documents for future contract bids Qualifications

BA/BS plus 5+ years of related experience. (Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related area is preferred) 3+ years managing cloud engineers Demonstrated and practical leadership experience Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships Proficiency with Terraform, Python, or Ansible Cloud migration experience (AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI) Windows or Linux enterprise experience Excellent listening and interpersonal skills with exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and requirements Supervision of large teams and projects as a motivated leader and hands-on team player Ability to obtain and maintain a DoW clearance Preferred Qualifications

ITIL certification IT financial experience Cloud architecture experience Active cloud certification in either AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI Location

State of Louisiana. Work will be performed remotely; occasional travel to GDIT's office in Bossier City, LA may be required GDIT is Your Place

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
