Experience:
Proven experience in cradle-to-grave freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation management, with a deep understanding of the trucking industry including regulations and operational procedures.
(REQUIRED)
Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively broker deals between shippers and carriers, and to build and maintain professional relationships.
Proficiency in the use of freight brokerage software and transportation management systems to efficiently track shipments, manage carrier networks, and optimize freight operations.
Ability to analyze market trends and data to identify business opportunities, set competitive rates, and develop strategic plans to increase profitability.
Aptitude for solving complex logistical problems, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Education:
Required Skill Set:
Excellent customer service skills and ability to establish immediate rapport
Tolerance to ambiguity and the ability to overcome barriers
Able to work within a fast‑paced environment while balancing multiple responsibilities
Honest, strong work ethic, resourceful, and possesses effective negotiation skills
Proficient in basic computer skills
College degree is preferred, but not required as we have successful sales reps without it
Drayage experience required

Connect and build immediate rapport with individuals over the phone
Use our comprehensive list of supply chain services to meet the needs of customer decision makers.
Manage the successful movement of customer freight for customers through our network of carriers.
Be the main contact between customer, carrier, shipper and receiver.
Exemplify proactive and persistent communication with your customers and carriers.
