Customer Manager

in Midland, MI. Will also consider other major Dow hubs in the United States: Houston, Collegeville, and Marietta.

Responsibilities / Duties

Manages account portfolio and prepares and implements sales plans.

Leads and coordinates customer relationships working to understand customer needs, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.

Identify and develop new demand via new customer acquisition and increased share of wallet at existing accounts.

Input information in CRM and SmartPrice providing the required documentation aligned to the Dow sales processes.

Manages Sales Contracts following Dow guidelines and legal requirements according to each region and country.

Develops and executes sales and marketing plans delivering business goals of volume and value.

Collects and utilizes market intelligence to shape sales/marketing plan.

Leads and conducts negotiations and implements price changes and strategies.

Collaborates with other functions and stakeholders to deliver CX results.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant.

3+ years of relevant experience (Technical/Operations Engineering/Sales/Commercial related positions etc.).

Fluent in English.

A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior customer facing experience.

Proven ability to hunt, prospect, and generate new customer demand.

Familiarity with Dow’s data analytic systems (Power BI, Diamond systems, SmartPrice, OMP, etc.).

Additional Notes

This position does not offer relocation assistance.

Role may include up to 50% domestic travel in the United States and occasional Canada work travel.
