Role Summary The Sr. Credit/Collection Specialist oversees credit risk and account limits, manages complex reconciliations, and ensures timely collections. This role supports business growth through effective credit management and serves as a backup for other credit team members.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor customer accounts and follow up on payments.
Resolve billing issues and reduce outstanding balances.
Analyze financial data to assess creditworthiness and prepare reports.
Collaborate with sales, customer service, and rebate teams.
Approve credit limits and recommend increases to senior management.
Use advanced Excel tools (pivot tables, formulas, macros) for credit analysis.
Build dashboards to track account performance and risk.
Support additional credit-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
5+ years of credit experience in distribution, wholesale, or manufacturing.
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas).
Experience with ERP or credit software (Get Paid is a plus).
Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
