As part of PwC’s Deals practice, you will provide strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. In Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services, you will advise public and private companies on complex accounting, financial reporting, and capital markets issues that impact transaction value.
Responsibilities
Advise on technical accounting and financial reporting for deals.
Lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff.
Ensure project success, uphold quality standards, and drive client satisfaction.
Motivate, develop, and inspire team members; coach and leverage their strengths.
Identify opportunities that enhance the firm’s success.
Embrace technology and innovation to improve engagement delivery.

What You Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
At least 5 years of experience.
CPA License (or equivalent in your jurisdiction). International hires must hold the local equivalent certification.
What Sets You Apart
Experience advising multinational companies on technical accounting.
Familiarity with IPOs, debt offerings, private placements, acquisitions, and post‑deal accounting.
Knowledge of restructurings, restatements, bankruptcies, and GAAP conversions.
Managing teams in a professional services environment.
Innovating with new technologies and handling large, complex data sets.
Utilizing digitization tools to enhance engagements.

Salary and Benefits The salary range for this position is $99,000–$232,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus. Location: Maryland. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), holiday pay, vacation, personal and family sick leave, and more.
