Base pay range
$60,000.00/yr - $88,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Utilizes and maintains credit analysis software. Underwrites existing and prospective commercial client requests; analyzes financial statements and compares client performance with industry and competitor trends. Occasionally accompany Commercial Lenders to meetings with Commercial Members or during business development events. Assess collateral offered and its marketability to ensure credit relationships meet internal policy guidelines and regulatory standards. Review and ensure commercial loan policy compliance throughout the lending process, including review of reports and loan approval conditions. Work with commercial lenders to understand requests, establish credit requirements, and recommend credit actions to the appropriate individual or committee based on credit analysis. Assist the department in training and sharing knowledge with Commercial Credit Analyst I team members. Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with Credit Union personnel and management; coordinate with related departments as needed and complete required reports and records. Review and help recommend various reports and other loan approval conditions. Maintain professional business relations with members and trade professionals; answer questions and resolve requests; assist department personnel with administrative tasks as needed, and protect the Credit Union\'s professional reputation. Adhere to applicable laws and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control) and follow policies to minimize risk by exercising judgment and escalating questions to management.
