Job Summary We’re looking for a talented assistant property manager who will assist the property manager in overseeing daily operations, lease administration, financial reporting, maintenance coordination, and ensuring a positive resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assists the property manager with day‑to‑day operations, resident retention, and lifecycle activities.

Manages accounts receivable: collects rent, posts entries, performs daily deposits, and ensures accurate rent roll.

Completes daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.

Audits records for lease expirations, delinquent accounts, and necessary administrative actions.

Processes evictions, including notices and court appearances.

Leases apartments, handles move‑ins, move‑outs, and renewals.

Inspects buildings and grounds, reports maintenance needs.

Collaborates with staff on leasing, marketing, maintenance, and general office tasks.

Writes routine correspondence and notices.

Assumes operational responsibilities in the absence of the property manager.

Ensures compliance with company policies, health and safety, and applicable laws.

Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

2–3 years of property management experience required.

Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.

Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.

Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or equivalent system preferred.

Skills & Requirements

Basic Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong organizational, time‑management, and customer‑service skills.

Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Compensation: $100,000.00 annually
