Overview

The Project Accounting Clerk ensures all bills and invoices are entered and paid in an efficient and timely manner. The employee will provide administrative and clerical support by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, monitoring expenses, and keeping records. Hourly rate is $20/hour. Applications will be accepted until October 29, 2025. Responsibilities

Daily review and processing of invoices received in the accounts payable email. Enter project-related invoices into RedTeam and route for approval. Identify discrepancies between invoices and buyout commitments, conduct investigations, and ensure corrections. Research and respond to vendor payment inquiries. Copy Business Manager on email correspondence. Prepare and monitor lien waivers. Maintain appropriate files and documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices. Point of contact for lien waivers required for project closeout. Mail pick up and scanning. Assist in credential monitoring and maintenance. Cooperate with cross-functional teams and offer support where needed. Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required. A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred. Preferred – at least five (5) years of accounting and administrative experience. Preferred – at least two (2) years of construction accounting and administrative experience. Preferred – notary license. Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or a similar role. Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks or related accounting system software. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Excellent computer skills with various software and ability to learn quickly. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and a results-driven approach. Ability to use appropriate written and verbal communication for the situation while providing a high level of customer service.
