Control Account Manager – MV-75 Bell is seeking a

Control Account Manager (CAM)

to join one of many development and production programs. The Control Account Manager at Bell is responsible for managing the scope, schedule and cost for multiple engineering, logistics and manufacturing efforts. This position will oversee the successful execution of project deliverables by understanding project requirements, building and maintaining the project Integrated Master Schedules, managing cost and schedule performance and supporting a multi-disciplined team through the complete development lifecycle for product introduction. This position is located at Bell’s headquarters facility in Ft. Worth, TX.

What You’ll Be Doing As a Control Account Manager

Responsible for reporting and managing program scope, cost and schedule execution as well as final product delivery.

Oversee the on-time delivery of high-quality contract deliverables for assigned program requirements.

Develop resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule, providing guidance in Work Package selection and activity logic within P6 - Project Primavera Manager as well as EV Method and Technique determination.

Analyze project performance using Earned Value Management principles and provide accurate project forecasting through Estimate to Complete (ETC) updates.

Provide monthly internal and external variance analysis for associated Control Account Contract requirements awareness, to include recognition of scope growth and/or baseline management.

Identify and manage risk, issue and opportunities for assigned subsystems.

Integrate with engineering IPTs to align team priorities that support schedule performance.

Utilize program-level metrics and supporting databases to provide progress/status for development, build, sustainment, and project planning.

Develop manpower and budget forecasts for program management.

Qualifications Skills You Bring To This Role

Previous experience building and managing program or project schedules. Previous project execution responsibilities including cost and schedule management. Earned Value Management experience is required. Able to develop high-level presentations to update internal and external leadership of project cost and schedule performance. Capability to plan and execute internal and external project reviews as well as other technical or financial meetings. Organize and prioritize tasks while maintaining flexibility through the fast paced, evolving environment. Ability to collaborate with multiple support functions to understand technical information to the extent of understanding scope, tasks, and progress of design and development. (You don’t need to understand the design and explain how it works, but you must understand it well enough to know if progress is being made and what progress means) Willingness to support Government audit inquiry as a part of a Government EVMS or Quality audit. Knowledge of military-aligned Earned Value Management (EVM) tools and metrics. Including experience with Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and EV metrics management and variance reporting.

What You Need To Be Successful

Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace or other Department of Defense industries.

Previous Control Account Management responsibility is preferred.

Previous experience as a team lead or Manager is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance or business. Advanced degrees in relevant engineering disciplines or related areas of focus will be considered as additional experience.
