Pay Range: $18.50–$19.50 per hour (depending on experience). Prior experience is not required – training provided.

Responsibilities
Assist the Activity Director in creating a rewarding social atmosphere throughout the community and promoting resident participation through scheduled high‑quality activities, excursions, special events, guest speakers, movie showings, exercise sessions, clubs, art and creativity opportunities, educational classes, and other activities.
Develop, recruit, manage and schedule community volunteers as requested.
Communicate effectively and display tact and friendliness when dealing with residents, families, visitors, co‑workers and supervisors.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
Be able to drive community vehicles.
Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co‑workers and other departments.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
Requires current Class C driver’s license; preference for Class B or Class C with passenger endorsement.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.) and operating a personal computer.
Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
Must comply with Oakmont Management Group’s health and safety policies, including vaccination and PPE requirements.
