The professional forester fills a generalist position responsible for most phases of forest land management at the project level, ensuring that all proposed activities meet applicable Tribal, Federal, and State regulations and laws. Projects assigned will be of moderate to highly complex nature, often controversial, and with numerous conflicting social, political, and biological factors.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry with at least 24 semester hours in forestry.
At least three (3) years of professional field forestry experience.
A valid state driver's license.
Current red card for fire overhead function and annual physical.
