Marble Uniques
Project Coordinator~Countertop Sales & Account Manager
Marble Uniques, Tipton, Indiana, United States, 46072
Location: Tipton, IN (primarily on‑site, with occasional site visits)
Position Type: Full‑Time
Company: Marble Uniques
Since 1998, Marble Uniques has been creating stunning custom countertops for kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces, and outdoor spaces. We specialize in natural and engineered surfaces — granite, quartz, marble, quartzite, and porcelain — and proudly serve homeowners, designers, and builders throughout Central Indiana.
As an accredited member of the Natural Stone Institute, we combine top‑tier craftsmanship with exceptional customer care, eco‑conscious practices, and industry‑leading technology. Our mission is simple: deliver a seamless, professional experience and create spaces that inspire.
Position Overview We’re seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing team and take ownership of one of our largest custom and semi‑custom home builder accounts.
This position blends sales, project management, and client relations — ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and thrives on communication and relationship‑building. You’ll guide designers and homeowners through material selections in our warehouse, manage project details from concept to installation, and ensure every client’s vision is brought to life with accuracy and care.
You’ll begin by training with the current project coordinator managing this account to ensure a smooth transition. Once you’re up to speed, you’ll have opportunities to take on additional builder accounts and grow your portfolio — expanding both your impact and earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for a major custom and semi‑custom home builder account.
Guide designers, builders, and homeowners through countertop material selections in our warehouse and showroom.
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with builders, general contractors, and design teams.
Coordinate project details, ensuring all preferences, specifications, and technical requirements are clearly documented and communicated.
Act as a liaison between the customer and internal teams (programming, fabrication, and installation).
Proactively communicate job updates, resolve questions, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Visit job sites occasionally to confirm details, review installations, or meet with clients and contractors.
Keep detailed, organized notes and documentation for all projects.
Identify and pursue opportunities to add new builder and contractor accounts.
Represent Marble Uniques with professionalism, accuracy, and enthusiasm at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in sales or account management (countertops, cabinets, construction, building materials, or design industry preferred).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
Professional, outgoing, and personable demeanor with a strong customer‑service mindset.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
Comfortable using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and email‑based communication tools.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license for occasional job‑site visits.
Ability to work primarily on‑site in Tipton, IN.
At Marble Uniques, culture matters just as much as craftsmanship. We believe in fostering a workplace built on teamwork, integrity, and mutual respect — where people enjoy coming to work and take pride in what they create.
Our most successful team members are those who:
Care deeply about doing things right the first time.
Communicate clearly and proactively with their team.
Bring positive energy to the people around them.
Embrace accountability and continuous improvement.
See every project as an opportunity to build trust and deliver excellence.
What We Offer
Competitive base salary + commission
Full‑time, long‑term opportunity with clear growth potential
Path to expand into new builder and contractor accounts
Supportive, professional, and team‑oriented environment
