This Route Sales Representative role is entrepreneurial, focused on building customer relationships with new accounts and expanding contacts within existing accounts. The position involves driving a Company van/truck with fabrication tools and equipment and selling to Fabricator customers, leveraging in-depth Stone Fabrication product and service knowledge to identify upsell opportunities for Quartz, Natural Stone, Porcelain, and related products. Responsibilities
Drive a van/truck along an established route to service and sell within an existing customer base Maintain professionalism and portray the company positively in all interactions Maintain high level of product and service knowledge on Stone Fabrication, tools, and equipment Take orders from clients and prepare products for purchase Stay informed about new products, services, and competitor activities Develop and build relationships with new accounts and add contacts within existing accounts Handle customer complaints and escalate to the appropriate person as needed Respond to customer service calls in a courteous and professional manner Provide post-sale support to resolve problems and ensure ongoing service Maintain a high level of customer service Job Requirements
Proven sales ability with capability to meet and surpass targets Valid driver's license with a clean driving record High level of integrity and work ethic Demonstrated time management skills Ability to quickly learn new product and service knowledge and communicate it to customers Effective verbal and written communication skills Work Conditions
Interaction with customers and the public Possibility of long driving hours and multiple deliveries Work both indoors and outdoors Manual dexterity to use desktop computer and peripherals Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform related physical movements Long periods of sitting with driving hours; handling/gripping tools and equipment Climbing into the van and client locations; occasional stooping when accessing equipment/tools Salary
