Senior Leisure Sales Manager
to work closely with the Leisure team. The manager will lead the resort’s leisure segment strategy, driving revenue and market share from luxury travel advisors, consortia partners, and high‑end individual travelers. Responsibilities include cultivating relationships with key domestic and international accounts, implementing targeted sales initiatives, and positioning the resort as a premier destination for discerning guests.
Position Overview The Senior Leisure Sales Manager is responsible for driving the leisure sales strategy and cultivating high‑value relationships that position the resort as a leading luxury destination on the Southern California coast. The role focuses on increasing market share and revenue through partnerships with luxury travel advisors, consortia accounts, and elite leisure clientele.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the resort’s annual leisure sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share goals within the luxury travel segment.
Identify, nurture, and manage relationships with top‑producing travel advisors, consortia partners, and luxury travel networks.
Represent the resort at key industry events, trade shows, and sales missions both domestically and internationally.
Collaborate with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams to align promotional initiatives, packages, and rate strategies.
Analyze market trends, competitive data, and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales effectiveness.
Conduct site inspections, host familiarization trips, and create tailored experiences for VIP travel partners and clients.
Maintain an active presence within the travel advisor community to enhance brand awareness and preference.
Prepare accurate forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in luxury leisure sales within the hospitality industry, preferably at a resort or coastal destination.
Established relationships with top luxury travel advisors and consortia (e.g., Virtuoso, Signature, Travel Leaders, Ensemble).
Proven ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
Strong organizational, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Professional presence with the ability to communicate effectively and build credibility with high‑end clientele and partners.
Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Passion for luxury hospitality, storytelling, and creating memorable guest experiences.
