Role Description Big G Steel LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Staff Accountant to support our financial operations. This role is responsible for managing payroll, reconciling accounts, ensuring sales tax compliance, and assisting the Controller with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will also contribute to process improvements, maintain resale certifications, and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency within the office.
Qualifications
Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Reporting skills
Experience with Account Reconciliation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced knowledge preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team
Problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies efficiently
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA certification is a plus
