Join Northrop Grumman as an Industrial Security Analyst / Principal Industrial Security Analyst supporting the Strategic Deterrence Systems Division located in Roy, UT. Your role will focus on developing and administering Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254), handling procedures for classified or proprietary materials, and ensuring compliance with federal security regulations.

You will develop and maintain security classification specifications, interpret and apply federal security regulations, and prepare manuals and procedures for subcontractors. Additionally, you will investigate security violations and prepare reports with preventive actions.
What You’ll Do
Support the Subcontractors Program Security team.
Develop and administer Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254).
Handle procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
Study and implement federal security regulations applicable to company operations.
Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
Prepare manuals outlining regulations for subcontractors and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

Basic Qualifications
Industrial Security Analyst: Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience; Master’s degree with 0 years of experience. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Principal Industrial Security Analyst: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience; Master’s degree with 3 years of experience; or PhD with 1 year of experience. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Required for Both Levels
U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application, current and within scope, and ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time.
Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Meticulous record‑keeping and accurate data entry into multiple databases/spreadsheets.
Excellent writing and organizational skills for effective communications.
Strong time‑management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office desktop software.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 manuals.
Familiarity with Security Information Management System (SIMs).
Experience with SLOPACS and DISS.
Prior Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) experience.
Experience leading small teams.
Experience with SAP inspections and a record of satisfactory compliance ratings.
Salary Range Primary Level: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00
Secondary Level: $78,700.00 - $118,100.00
Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow sharing in company results. Long‑term incentive plans may apply for executive positions.
