Department Description The Madison Clinic is an interdisciplinary, outpatient primary care clinic located at Harborview Medical Center that serves individuals living with HIV and/or at high‑risk of acquiring HIV. The clinic offers case management services funded by a federal grant to reduce barriers to medical care and increase access to medication for HIV‑positive patients. Barriers commonly include lack of adequate insurance, substance use, stigma, immigration status issues, mental health challenges, and homelessness.

Primary Job Responsibilities
Provide HIV/AIDS intake and case management to adult patients served in Madison Clinic.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of psychosocial, financial, medical support and environmental needs.
Develop individualized case management service plans to assist the hospitalized and ambulatory care patient to obtain needed medical, social, financial, legal, and home care services, housing, psychiatric and drug treatment, and emotional support.
Required Position Qualifications A Master of Social Work Degree from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
One year of full‑time social work experience in a health care setting or equivalent (including practicums or employment).
Legal Requirements Within 90 days of hire, must hold one of the following credentials issued by the state of Washington: Agency Affiliated Counselor; Licensed Social Work Associate – Advanced; Licensed Social Work Associate – Independent Clinical; Licensed Advanced Social Worker; Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.
Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum: $41.32 hourly
Pay Range Maximum: $64.66 hourly
Shift: Alternate Work Shift (United States of America)
