Dinsmore has an immediate need for labor and employment associates in Tampa, FL. Qualified candidates must have 2‑5 years of labor and employment experience. Responsibilities include litigation defense and advising employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws and working on FMLA, ADA, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and violation of wage law matters. Traditional labor experience dealing with NLRB issues, collective bargaining, and grievance/arbitration is preferred as well as experience taking depositions, arguing motions, and preparing cases for trial. Qualified candidates can look forward to a practice that will include significant client contact, team collaboration, and handling all aspects of complex employment cases for regional and national clients of all sizes. All candidates should anticipate working on employment litigation, managing case strategies, multi‑tasking and meeting deadlines.
All candidates should have a strong academic background, possess excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills, and be willing and able to travel in and out of state. A license to practice in Florida is required.
Competitive salary, benefits, and up to $40,000+ in bonus potential.
