Commercial Lines Account Manager
to join our growing team in
Rosland, NJ!
The Commercial Lines Account Manager will provide commercial lines service and support to clients and production staff, by assisting , maintaining , and expanding assigned accounts.
Responsibilities
Manage daily communications including mail, faxes, emails, and phone calls for assigned accounts.
Maintain organized account files and ensure all data is accurately entered into the system.
Review insurance documents (applications, renewals, endorsements) for compliance with underwriting guidelines.
Handle insurance marketing and renewals, including securing coverage checklists and loss runs.
Prepare and process insurance documents such as binders, policies, certificates, audits, and cancellations.
Assist with billing and premium-related tasks, including invoicing, finance agreements, and collections.
Support clients by preparing spreadsheets, premium breakdowns, and experience modification worksheets.
Attend industry events and maintain relationships with carriers, underwriters, and marketing reps.
Provide backup support to other service agents and perform clerical duties as needed.
Pursue professional development and maintain strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance lines.
All other duties as assigned.
Licenses and Certifications
Property & Casualty Agent’s License.
Skills & Experience to be Successful
High School Diploma required.
Large Lines position prefers college degree, designation, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong technical knowledge of coverage in all commercial line insurance coverage.
2 years’ service/general agency/company experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Pay Range $43.27 - $43.27 Hourly
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
