District Agent Development Coach – Farmers Insurance District 40 Do you have a passion for coaching, leadership, and helping others reach their full potential? Farmers Insurance District 40 is seeking an experienced and motivated District Agent Development Coach to mentor and train producers who are on the path toward becoming future agency owners.

In this role, you’ll work closely with top-performing producers and Protégés across Michigan — helping them sharpen their sales skills, improve production results, and prepare for the responsibilities of agency ownership. You’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of Farmers leaders while contributing directly to the growth and success of our district.

What You’ll Do as a District Agent Development Coach

Mentor and train insurance producers preparing for agency ownership through Farmers’ Protégé and Reserve programs.

Conduct regular one‑on‑one and group coaching sessions focused on sales strategies, business planning, and leadership skills.

Analyze performance metrics and develop personalized growth plans to improve production and sales consistency.

Provide hands‑on support in quoting, cross‑selling, customer retention, and new business development.

Lead workshops and training sessions on best practices in sales, service, and agency operations.

Collaborate with the district leadership team to identify high‑potential producers and accelerate their readiness for ownership.

Inspire and motivate individuals to reach sales goals and maintain the professionalism and standards of the Farmers brand.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2+ years of experience in insurance sales or agency operations

Active Michigan Property & Casualty License (required)

Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and lead others toward success

Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills

Organized, self‑motivated, and capable of managing multiple producer development plans

Leadership experience or mentoring background preferred
