Base pay range $18.51/hr - $24.68/hr

About This Job Location: Virginia Beach, VA (on‑site)

Department: Finance

Schedule: 8:15 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (ET) Monday – Friday

Clinical Status: Non‑Clinical

How You’ll Make An Impact The Accounts Receivable Specialist verifies and posts daily accounts receivable activity focusing on effectively and efficiently collecting customer balances due while building and maintaining good customer relationships. Your work will have purpose every single day, contributing directly to life‑changing outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Processing Payments: Processes timely and accurately customer payments, invoices.

Collections: Soliciting and collection of payment on account receivable balances in a timely manner. Exhibits excellent customer service to all clients (internal & external) in a courteous & professional manner.

Records Management: Maintains proper records of all delinquent accounts, incomplete files and credit risks.

What You’ll Bring Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

One year of hands‑on Accounts Receivable/Collection experience or relevant LifeNet Health experience in administrative, customer experience, or other related role.

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Accounting Certificate

Business to Business Collections/Accounts Receivable experience

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organization.

Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi‑task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls.

Attention to Detail: Ability to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on‑time delivery

Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Suite

Compensation Salary Range: $18.51 to $24.68 hourly. Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $18.51 hourly (entry level qualifications) to $24.68 hourly (experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
