Position Summary Global Atlantic, a KKR company, is seeking a Human Capital Business Partner to support the Insurance division. The role will be based in Des Moines, Iowa and will report to the Senior Human Capital Business Partners for the Insurance division.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with Senior Human Capital Business Partners on HC strategy and key projects, including data analysis, headcount planning, talent management, diversity initiatives, training, compensation frameworks, succession planning, and engagement surveys.

Manage headcount reporting/tracking with Comp and FP&A teams, including open roles and Workforce Planning processes in OrgVue and Greenhouse.

Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment activities (e.g., search firm identification, offer approvals, onboarding).

Handle all immigration cases for the business area.

Support employee relations matters as appropriate.

Help drive the Program Analyst and Associate processes, including promotion and departure procedures.

Represent Human Capital on the Actuarial Student Committee and run the Actuarial Rotation Student Program.

Provide flexibility to support other global HR initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.

8‑10 years of Human Capital experience, including HC Business Partner or generalist experience supporting senior leaders.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to work independently and as a strategic advisor to business and HC teams.

Preferred Experiences

Professional HR designation.

Experience in organizational design, succession planning, performance management, diversity and inclusion, compensation and rewards, talent management, employee relations, and data analysis.

Strong commercial acumen and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Self‑starter with high energy, creativity, and entrepreneurial drive.

Proven influence at senior leadership level and ability to build trusting partnerships.

Exceptional listening, communication, and presentation skills.

Our employees work in the office 5 days per week in New York and 4 days per week in all other offices.
