Overview Litigation Paralegal

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 (DOE)

In-Office

A respected and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its dynamic legal team. This position plays a key role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation—from case preparation and discovery to trial and post-trial activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys through all stages of litigation, including case management, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

Draft, review, and organize pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery responses.

Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries, exhibits, and trial notebooks.

Manage document production and ensure all filings comply with court rules and deadlines.

Coordinate witness preparation, depositions, and trial logistics.

Maintain organized case files and accurate records throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications

Associate degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment.

Familiarity with federal and state court procedures, rules, and filing systems.

Strong knowledge of discovery, evidence, and motion practice.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
