The Opportunity We are seeking an empathetic, detail‑oriented

Pre‑Litigation Assistant

for our Personal Injury team. This full‑time position (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) is located at our Irvine Spectrum office. Experience in legal case management is required.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain strong relationships with clients from intake through settlement.

Monitor cases, verify client attendance, evaluate and communicate treatments and responses, and advocate for needed services and entitlements.

Maintain accurate client records, review case notes, and log events and progress.

Communicate client progress through weekly interdisciplinary meetings and evaluations.

Request and track medical records, mail, scan, and manage government claim forms, and resolve property damage claims.

Draft legal documents such as letters of representation and evidence preservation.

Ensure client files are complete for demand and potential litigation.

Maintain confidentiality of client/attorney information.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred in criminal justice, sociology, or related fields.

2–5 years of pre‑litigation case management experience.

Strong interpersonal, relationship‑building, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent telephone customer service etiquette with active listening skills.

Superior time management and ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines.

Excellent verbal, listening, written, and organizational communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace.

Experience with CASEpeer or Filevine legal management software is a plus.

Team‑oriented, independent, and reliable with consistent attendance.

Strong desire to expand knowledge of personal injury law.

Benefits Pay starting at $23.00 to $33.00 an hour. Additional benefits include: 60% coverage of health and dental plans, life, vision, and pet insurance, two weeks paid time off starting on the first day, and a robust 401(k) and profit share plan.
