Overview McCabe Restoration, an Endurant Company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Manager, People and Culture
to serve as the dedicated People/Human Resources (HR) leader for its division/business unit. This role is a critical
independent contributor
position responsible for driving the People strategy and managing all HR functions for two business units located in the
Memphis, Tennessee, and North Little Rock, Arkansas
areas. The Manager, People and Culture will ensure operational excellence, foster a positive work environment, and align People strategies with the company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Business Partnering:
Serve as the primary HR point of contact and strategic partner to local leadership and employees in both the Memphis and North Little Rock locations.
Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
Drive and support local business unit objectives through effective People strategies.
Employee Relations (ER):
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Promote a high-performance, ethical, and inclusive culture.
Talent Acquisition (TA):
Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for all non-executive roles within the business units, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Manage new hire onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a seamless and engaging transition.
Payroll Management:
Oversee and manage the timely and accurate processing of payroll for the supported business units, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Manage benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee communications.
Daily Operational Support:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR data and employee files (both physical and electronic).
Manage HR compliance, including reporting, policy implementation, and mandatory training.
Support performance review cycles, compensation planning, and learning and development initiatives.
Act as the local liaison for corporate HR initiatives rolled out by the Endurant parent company.
Qualifications
Experience:
A minimum of
five (5) years of experience
in a generalist-level Human Resources role is required.
Knowledge:
Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state (Tennessee and Arkansas) employment laws and HR best practices.
Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
