The City of Claremont Police Department is seeking certified and non-certified, career oriented, intellectual, motivated applicants to join our team as Police Officers. The selected candidates must be able to complete the NH Police Standards & Training Full Time Academy if non-certified, possess excellent verbal & written communication skills and pass a thorough background investigation including, but not limited to, a polygraph, physical & drug screen. The City Of Claremont Police Department Is a Forward-thinking, Community-minded Agency With Room For Advancement And Growth. Currently, Officers Work 12-hour Shifts With Two Weekends Off Per Month. Shifts Rotate Every Three Months Giving Officers Exposure To All Hours Of Policing. We Offer a Variety Of Specialized Units To Include OHRV Patrol Snowmobile Patrol Comfort Dog Field Training Officer Police Patrol K-9 Range Officers Detective Bureau RO Once hired, new officers immediately begin receiving their salary and are paid through the entire police academy and field training programs.
