Salary:
$100K to $115K, commensurate with experience, plus comprehensive benefits

LHH is partnering with a leading law firm in San Diego to find an experienced Legal Assistant with a strong background in healthcare and administrative support. This role supports the Managing Partner and is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with at least 5 years of experience in legal administrative roles, particularly within the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative support to the Managing Partner, including calendar management and travel coordination
Schedule and coordinate client and board meetings, ensuring all logistics are handled with precision
Maintain frequent and professional client contact, acting as a liaison between clients and attorneys
Prepare, format, and edit legal documents with a high degree of accuracy
Manage document filing and organization using iManage or similar document management systems
Support litigation processes including e-filing and managing the litigation lifecycle
Assist with proofreading, redlining, and formatting legal documents
Collaborate with attorneys and staff across departments to ensure seamless workflow
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of legal administrative experience, with a strong emphasis on healthcare and/or administrative law
Familiarity with Intellectual Property, Litigation, and Coverage is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and iManage
Knowledge of CompuLaw, Best Authority, Adobe Pro, Comparite, and CCC Macros is a plus
Strong understanding of federal and state court filing rules and procedures
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage complex calendars
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positive, collaborative attitude with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently
