Strategic Sales & Marketing Professional at Banyan Technology We are seeking an experienced Sales Professional to work with the marketing and sales teams in qualifying and generating sales leads for new prospects and existing client accounts.
Through a combination of inbound and outbound marketing efforts, the successful Sales Professional will perform lead prospecting efforts to generate MQL and SQL leads with prospective and existing clients. This position is an important component of the sales and marketing process. The SDR/BDR plays a critical role in qualifying leads, scheduling discovery meetings and managing sales leads through the entire sales cycle to maximize deal opportunities. This role is a stepping stone into our Account Manager/Account Executive development program.
Duties & Responsibilities
Field inbound leads and schedule discovery calls, conduct platform demos, manage through pipeline stages.
Create new opportunities and leads with the support of outbound marketing campaigns, sales sequences and follow-up calls to schedule discovery meetings.
Facilitate initial discovery call meetings between prospective clients and sales representatives.
Develop and implement lead generation activities to develop self-sourced SQL deals.
Maintain ongoing education and awareness of system product updates and enhancements as well as overall industry insights and the market’s climate.
Follow all internal processes and procedures established to generate and develop lead opportunities.
Create and maintain weekly reporting documents and pipeline management data.
Core Skills & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business or related field not required, but beneficial.
Minimum of 2 years of sales related experience.
Proficiency in the English language.
Experience with and proficiency in operational CRM systems of record, HubSpot is current Banyan CRM.
Microsoft Excel experience and proficiency required.
Proficiency and experience with ZoomInfo, LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator preferred.
Desire and aptitude to learn and engage with new technology.
Ability to articulately craft and write outreach emails and process documents.
Attention to detail and advanced organizational skills necessary.
Additional Requirements

Able to interact, communicate and present findings, recommendations, and opportunities.
Able to work independently or in a team.
Able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
