Data Center Engineer
to join our team in Edison, NJ and help keep critical infrastructure running smoothly. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that hardware, connectivity, and systems operate efficiently, while collaborating with vendors and internal teams to deliver seamless operations.
Responsibilities
Set up and configure servers, storage, and networking devices in data centers and office tech spaces
Ensure all systems are properly connected, powered, and operational
Track and maintain inventory of IT assets using DCIM or similar tools
Support planned upgrades and changes while minimizing service interruptions
Monitor environmental conditions to maintain optimal equipment performance
Qualifications
5+ years of experience working in data center or infrastructure engineering
Hands‑on experience with server, storage, and network device setup
Familiarity with asset tracking tools and infrastructure monitoring
Understanding of power distribution, airflow, and environmental management
Basic networking knowledge (OSI layers 1–3)
Comfortable working onsite at various locations and adapting to shifting priorities
