This location requires proof of COVID-19 and flu vaccination. The Valet Attendant ensures the safe and efficient parking of guest vehicles while delivering service that exceeds our customer/ client’s expectations. The Attendant responds quickly to customers’ requests and provides caring interactions with all guests at the assigned location. The Attendant works closely with fellow team members, the Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that quality and safety standards are met at all times, while adhering to state and local laws. N/A Key Responsibilities
Mobilize and coordinate beginning-to-end valet process by retrieving keys, assisting guests, loading guest vehicles, and issuing tickets or entering customer information with electronic devices. Foster customer success by building rapport, addressing inquiries, and providing directions when needed. Act as a brand ambassador by interfacing with guests, opening vehicle doors, and unloading vehicles. Deploy vehicle safety and security procedures to direct traffic, park vehicles, inspect for damage, and report incidents to location leadership. Request and collect applicable fees and reconcile end-of-shift revenue. Meet and greet guests upon arrival; assist with unloading when necessary. Retrieve keys, issue tickets, and enter customer information as required. Park vehicles in appropriate spaces and ensure safe operation of guest vehicles. Inspect vehicles for preexisting damage and record details using electronic devices or tickets. Retrieve vehicles quickly for waiting guests and assist with luggage as needed. Provide excellent customer service; respond to inquiries and give directions as needed. Direct traffic, position barricades, and arrange for towing services when necessary. Report incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead promptly. Assist in reconciling end-of-shift revenue against ticket distribution when necessary. Communicate professionally with guests, clients, and teammates. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
At least 18 years of age Valid driver’s license Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles (stick shift) Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to verbally communicate with guests Acceptable driving record and MVR Ability to learn quickly and use sound decision making in fast-paced environments Ability to operate vehicles with normal coordination (eye-hand, hand-foot) Ability to move between valet stand and customer cars for extended periods Previous valet experience preferred Benefits
