Pay Range Hiring Range: $3,773 - $4,509 per month. CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,773 - $5,282 per month.
Job Summary Under general supervision, the Equipment Attendant is responsible for instructional equipment, audiovisual equipment, and supplies used in the Kinesiology programs, as well as general oversight of common areas such as locker rooms.
Key Responsibilities
Issue and check‑in instructional equipment, audiovisual equipment, and supplies to faculty, staff, and department majors each instructional session.
Maintain and conduct periodic inventory of instructional and audiovisual equipment.
Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment; arrange for specialized repairs when needed.
Assist with locker room management, including clearing and cleaning lockers, reassigning locks, laundering, and restocking issue areas.
Prepare and issue equipment and supplies for department‑sponsored camps, workshops, and events.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The candidate should possess strong coordination abilities for managing equipment and supplies, proficiency in conducting inventories, and experience supporting locker room operations. Skills in using general office programs such as Outlook and Word are required. The candidate should communicate effectively with a diverse campus community and follow university policies regarding safety, civility, information security, and non‑discrimination.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Summary
Medium work: lifting 20‑40 pounds; standing, squatting, kneeling, or walking 20%‑40% of the time. May require pushing or pulling objects within weight limits.
Licenses / Certificates
American Red Cross First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain).
CPR certification required.
