Fund Finance Associate Attorney (Junior Level)
Location:
Charlotte Direct Counsel is seeking a
junior-level Fund Finance Associate
to join a
prestigious Am Law 100 firm
in
Charlotte . This position offers the opportunity to work with an elite finance practice handling
complex fund financings, leveraged finance transactions, and private credit deals . Key Responsibilities
Represent
lenders and borrowers
in a variety of fund financing transactions.
Work on
secured and unsecured lending transactions , including acquisition financings, bridge loans, and
syndicated/bilateral
financings.
Handle
cross-border financings , working with global clients and counterparties.
Conduct
due diligence, draft loan documents, and negotiate deal terms .
Collaborate with
private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and investment funds
on sophisticated financing structures.
Qualifications
Education:
J.D. from a top-tier law school, class of
2022 or 2023 .
Experience:
2–3 years of experience in
fund finance, leveraged finance, or private credit transactions .
Skills:
Strong academic credentials, excellent contract negotiation, legal research, and analytical skills.
Work Environment & Compensation
Salary Range:
$235,000 – $260,000 (compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and firm policies).
