Overview

Installer of Commercial Doors & Hardware role at Coloscapes Concrete. This job is posted in accordance with Wyoming state statute, 16-6-203, Article 2 - Preference for Wyoming State Laborers. Preference will be given to Wyoming residents who meet the requirements.

Project: Buffalo Ridge Elementary School (SO#62672), 5331 Pineridge Avenue, Cheyenne, WY 82007. Project duration is projected to be 2 days and will occur between October 30, 2025 and November 30, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Adjust door frames to specified doors, frames, and hardware.
• Use power hand tools for cutting and forming metal and wood; welding as required.
• Understand the function of doors and hardware and adjust hardware for optimum performance.
• Install and adjust door hardware and commercial doors.
• Perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more as part of the essential job duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience installing doors, frames, and hardware; must have 2 years’ experience in hollow metal shop.
• Four years of field experience installing and servicing BEA and LCN equipment.
• Minimum of 5 years’ field installation experience.
• Must have own tools (including ladders) and own transportation.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Background check and clean MVR required; no applicants will be considered without submission of the MVR with application.
• Position is temporary and does not include benefits.
